Math: Skills-Measuring line segments to nearest inch, adding ten to two digit numbers, sums of 12. Assessment on Thursday.
Science: Chapter three
Social Studies: We will continue to work on Unit Two. The unit project is to create a Landform Card Game. Make a set of cards with landform names and a brief definition of the landform. Then make a set with corresponding pictures. The students may draw the landforms, get them off the internet, or find and cut pictures from magazines. The set needs to include (but not limited to): plains, hills, mountains, islands, peninsula, river, lake, and gulf. Partners should be able to play a matching game by turning over two cards at a time until a match is found—as in Concentration. This is due on October 30th.
F.Y.I.: We’ll wear our new LCS Grade Two shirts on 10/16.
LCS Chili Supper is 10/16.
Parent-Teacher Consultations are on October 19, 20 after school. If you have not sent in the time you wish to meet, please do so by Monday, October 12. Thanks.
