Class Work
*Reading– This week we will review routine, expectations, rhyming, the alphabet song, and looking at environmental print around the room.
*Religion– Genesis 1
Creation Days 5,6, and 7
*Memory– We will work on the Lord’s Prayer this week. Please work on at home.
*Math-Counting to 5 with 1 to 1 correspondents. Using linking cubes, teddy bears, and counters. On Thursday I will test students on shapes. If I have concerns about your child’s results I will let you know.
*Science – Plants and Animals
*Social Studies– Our world
*If I see students are struggling with an assignment I will send the activity home.
This Weeks Happenings in
Kindergarten
Monday– Chapel 8:30 (Remember Dress Code and Offering)
Wednesday– Market Day Kick-Off 2:30
Thursday– Show and Tell
Bring something that is special to you.
Friday– Mrs. Klosterman will be gone.
Mrs. Osterman will be the substitute teacher.

Snacks
Mrs. Klosterman will provide for this week. (August 24-28)
Jimmy Baute will have snacks the next week. (August 31-Sept. 4) and will be the star of the week. If you would like to have pictures on your board to share with the class please send them in.
News
Lindsey Lubker a senior at BCHS will be a cadet teacher in our classroom starting Monday.
Happy Birthday in August to Kelsey Walker, Levi Stahl, and Grace Scarlett.
If you have not turned in the forms from the parents meeting please do so soon.
Mrs. Osterman will be helping in our classroom on Wednesday afternoons
