On December 20, our school will have a Christmas sing-a-long. Each class will sing a given song and dress or do actions according the song. Our class was given We Wish You A Merry Christmas. I ask that each student bring in a plain white inexpensive or old t-shirt so we can pin a letter on it. When our class stands in a line the shirts will spell Merry Christmas. We will need the shirts by Friday, December 16. As we enter the winter season, please beware that their may be 2 hour delays or school may be closed for a full day due to inclement weather. If our school is closed it will be listed under Brownstown School Corporation on both the radio and local television stations. Remember to send your child with a heavy coat, gloves, hats, and warm clothes; as we will be going outside for recess unless it is below 32 degrees outside. Our Christmas party will be on Tuesday, December 20. Those helping include: Sweet Treat: Brody Teipen and Sam Rohr; Salty/Healthy Treat: Addison Darlage Drinks: Evan Shuler, Plates and Napkins: Hudson Fritz Help, Games/Activities/Crafts: Emily Darlage. Everyone is welcome to come to the party. The party will begin at 1:45 with snacks and then students will open presents and do activities.
On Tuesday, our class is going to be writing letters to Santa. The letters will be sent to Macy’s dept. store which will then be sent to the North Pole. Macy’s will send $1 per each letter to the Make a Wish Foundation. This will be our class service project for this year along with the ornaments for the nursing home residents.
