Class Work
*Reading– Students will be learning about the long o sound in the medial position and reviewing previous letters both long and short sounds, vocabulary review, comprehension, and main idea. Students will be reading the decodable: An Old Flag on Friday.
* Word Wall Words (star words) this week- boy, out
*Religion–
*Memory- Chapel Parts
*Math- Students will continue working on adding and subtracting. We will also be working on writing and identifying the numbers 11 to 20. Students will have math homework on Wednesday.
*Science- Living Things
*Social Studies- Past, Present, Future

Brody Teipen will have snacks and drinks this week.
Tucker Tormoehlen will have snacks and drinks next week.
News
Kindergarten will be conducting the chapel service on Thursday, May 5. There will be a copy of the program in student’s folders. Please practice your child’s part with them. The parts need to be memorized by April 29. We will practice at school also.
School is in session on Friday, April 15 and Monday, April 18. These were originally snow days.
The students who can tie their shoes will get to walk to Dairy Queen on May 13. Keep Practicing!
Emanuel Lutheran Church, Dudleytown will be having a spaghetti dinner on April 30 from 3 to 8 in the church basement. The dinner will be a free-will offering with all of the proceeds going to assist Tom Koester and his family with medical expenses and whatever else they need. Tom is battling stage 4 cancer. He is married to Michelle and they have 3 young daughters Kourtland, Karrington, and Kensley. Please keep Tom and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
