Class Work
* Reading– We will be beginning a unit on Shadows. Students will be reviewing sounds along with learning the j and f sounds. Students will be reading the decodable Jam Pot on Friday.
* Word Wall Words (star words) this week- for *Remember to keep practicing all of the word wall words!
*Religion– Jesus Baptism
*Memory– Hymn of the Month: Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee
*Math- Geometric Solids and Fractions; Homework Page on Wednesday
*Science- Winter; Science Fair Experiment
*Social Studies- Our Country If you have any quarters with any of the states please send them in by Wednesday. We are going to work on finding states on a map.

Jayden Brown will have snacks and drinks this week.
Sage Key will have snacks and drinks next week.
News
Friday, January 28 is our 100th day. Students are asked to bring 100 of something in a plastic bag with his or her name on it.
Book orders are due January 31. I hope to get the order in and have the books by Valentine’s Day.
