The unit project is to create a Landform Card Game. Make a set of cards with landform names and a brief definition of the landform. Then make a set with corresponding pictures. The students may draw the landforms, get them off the internet, or find and cut pictures from magazines. The set needs to include (but not limited to): plains, hills, mountains, islands, peninsula, river, lake, and gulf. Partners should be able to play a matching game by turning over two cards at a time until a match is found—as in Concentration. This is due on October 30th.
