News and Notes from Grade Two for Week Twelve

Memory:  For 10/30/07  Study:  Luther's Evening Prayer-I thank You, my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, Your dear Son, that You have graciously kept me this day; 

For 10/31/2007  Study:  And I pray that You would forgive me all my sins where I have done wrong, and graciously keep me this neight.  For into Your hands I commend myself, my body and soul, and all things.  Let Your holy angel be with me, that the evil foe may have no power over me.  Amen. 

For 11/01/2007  Study:  "Great is our Lord and mighty in power."  Psalm 147:5

For 11/02/2007  Study:  "If we live, wer live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord.  So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord."  Romans 14:8

Word Wall Words:  could, teach, thing, sister, too            Word Wall and Language Tests on Friday

Don't forget the REFORMATION CELEBRATION on October 31st.  A note went home regarding what the children are to bring for the party.

Please note--Mrs. Michelle Owens will be available at our school to check out public library books to students with a current library card every other Thursday beginning November 1st.  This is a great opportunity and convenient way for our students to get some great additional reading material.
