Memory for the Week of
5/24-5/28
Our last week of memory! This week we will finish the Ten Commandments and do Bible verses. The 10th Commandment will be fill-in-the-blank, but both Bible verses will be written out.
Tuesday, 5/25 (The Tenth Commandment)
You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.
What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not entice or force way our neighbor’s wife, workers, or animals, or turn them against him, but urge them to stay and do their duty.
Wednesday, 5/26 (1 John 3:16a)
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.
Thursday, 5/27 (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
