Parents: I have received several Social Studies projects and have noted that some are written as reports. I wish for the students to make a journal entry. They are to pretend they are the historical figure and write a journal entry like they are that person. We have been journaling for quite a while now, so I believe the students understand that concept. The assignment was not for a report, but rather an entry that indicates the student understands why his personality is an important person in history. Make the entry sound like the person from history is writing down what happened one day in that person's life. Please call if you have questions. Thank you.
