Religion: Bible Truth-The First Christmas
Memory: Please remember that we are working on the Christmas Eve services for our churches. Please make sure your child brings the memory copy to school each day. Thanks. There is Monday memory for this week and next.
(Christmas service practices at school on Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon.)
The students from St. Paul’s-Wegan will practice after school on Wednesday, December 9th until 5:00. If your child normally rides bus 14 or bus 12, they should still ride that bus. The buses will drop the students off at the church. Primary aged children who do not ride one of those two buses will be driven to the church by Mrs. Rohr or myself.

Skills covered: Five “W” + How Questions, commas in a series, facts/opinions, review of singular and plural nouns, and using dialogue in a story.

Social Studies-Don’t forget the Social Studies Unit Project!
Info was given in last week’s newsletter and is currently on the LC web site. The project is due on December 18th. It may be turned in sooner.
Baptism Party for Logan and Zodie is scheduled for December 11th at 1:15.
Mrs. Owens, from Brownstown Public Library, invited our students to participate in the upcoming Book Club this past Wednesday. An explanatory sheet was sent home with your child. I just want to encourage you to think about signing your child up for this. It is a great way to promote comprehension skills. Thanks!
Don’t forget our service project for Anchor House. Thanks to all who have donated ketchup, mustard, and/or jelly. We’ve gotten a really great start to a large donation. Please send your donations by December 15th.
