Reverend Brillinger will be visiting Wegan church on Sunday, September 16. He is the missionary that the 8th grade class chose to support for our chapel mission. He travels to Kazikstan and Lithuania and talks to the orphans there and shares the Gospel with them.
He will be visiting Wegan's 10:00 service and there is a pitch-in dinner that follows. I encourage you to consider attending the service and listening to Reverend Brillinger tell about the work that he is doing.
Originally, we considered asking Reverend Brillinger to come to the classroom on Monday, the 17th to talk with the 8th graders. Unfortunately, that will not work because we will be taking ISTEP tests starting on Monday, the 17th. Hopefully, though, we can keep in contact with Reverend Brillinger through e-mail and pictures throughout the year.
Also remember that the 8th graders have chosen to support the Parkinson's Foundation with our chapel offerings as well. We have almost $60.00 right now to help these two very worthwhile causes. Please encourage your children to pray for these missions and to remember their chapel offerings each week.
If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks for your continued support.
