Dear Parents,
As we approach the end of the school year, your eighth grade son or daughter has begun to look forward to their future high school years as they reflect on their past at Lutheran Central School. We will be celebrating their past and future at their graduation service on May 23 beginning at 7:00 P.M. We look forward to celebrating this event with you as these students participate in their last important event at Lutheran Central.
We ask that each graduate arrive at school and be in the eighth grade room ready to process in by 6:45. Each graduate will receive a corsage or boutonniere and those need to be put on before 6:45. This is a dress-up occasion and does not necessarily mean a coat and tie for the guys or a dress for the girls, but we do not want casual dress.
Mr. Dennis Peters, of Dennis Peters Photography, has made himself available for any pictures that you would like of your graduate or family. He will be set up in an upper grade classroom by 5:30 and will be available until about 6:40. He will also take pictures of the graduates as they come across the stage and he will be available during the reception for you to look at the pictures and purchase if you wish. He will be able to print the pictures immediately or do some touchups on your choices and have them printed later. The costs are $3.50 for a 4x6, $6.00 for a 5x7 and $12.00 for an 8x10.
