Class Work
*Reading–We will be starting a new unit today, Ready Set Grow! Students will begin learning the long vowel sounds, this week is the long vowel sound like in cake. Students will have a decodable for homework on Friday.
* Word Wall Words (star words) this week- said, that
*Religion– Jesus’ Miracles
*Memory– Bible Verse: Since God so loved us, we love one another. 1 John 4:11
*Math- Students will be working on fractions- halves and whole parts this week. Math homework will be on Wednesday.
*Science- Experiments; Classifying Rocks
*Social Studies- Presidents

Levi Pottschmidt will have snacks and drinks next week.

News
Our Valentine’s Day party is on Tuesday beginning at 2:15. Those signed up to bring items include: Snacks- Sweet Treat: Kelsey Schneider, Salty/Healthy Treat: Kelis East; Drinks-Parker Hehman; Plates and Napkins-Levi Pottschmidt; Games/crafts and help at party: Suzanne Bolte. If it does not work for you to bring the above item please let me know. Thank you!
Students will have bags to put Valentines Tuesday morning. Please send Valentines in for each student we have 14 students. They are: Will, Addison, Jenna, Carson, Kelis, Hudson, Parker, Levi, Sam, Kelsey, Evan, Adam, Brody, and Dylan. If possible have your child complete the cards themselves. Students will get to open them during the party.
Students will continue to be tested on different concepts for the report card. Students will be tested on letter recognition and sounds along with word wall words, reading 3 letter words, parts of a story, number and coin recognition, tying shoes, ect.
We are out of Kleenexes and Clorox wipes. If you would like to donate some please send them in with your child.
Lutheran Central Auction tickets are on sale in the school office and at one of the association churches.
Remember donations for our kitchen basket can be turned in anytime. Thank you in advance!
