*Reading– Please work with your child on color words, rhyming, and identifying letters Aa-Mm. These are concepts we have been working on. We are beginning our 2nd unit, Patterns. I will test students on recognizing the letters of the alphabet this week. Students will need to read The Zoo on Tuesday night and Colors on Thursday night. If you see your child is really struggling with these books let me know. Thank you!

*Religion– Gifts from the Tabernacle- Exodus 35-36
*Memory– Luther’s Morning Prayer (1st Part)- We are going to review from last week.

News
Our class will continue doing activities this week related to Johnny Appleseed and apples.
Last week, Pastor Bernard from Haiti came to talk to students at chapel and our classroom. We decided to give our Kindergarten chapel offering this year to the school where Pastor Bernard preaches and his kids attend.
Thank you to everyone who brought granola bars for the Race for Grace.
Please keep working on helping your child learn how to tie their own shoes.
