We will celebrate Addison Darlage and Adam Stahl’s baptism birthdays on Friday.
We are doing many activities with letter recognition. If you have an empty cereal box at home please send it in for an activity we will do in the next couple of weeks. Thank you!
I am sending the blankets home on Friday (Sept. 2) to be washed. Please return them on Tuesday.
There will be no school on Monday, September 4 in honor of Labor Day.
We will be ordering t-shirts this week. If you have not returned the order forms please do as soon as possible if you would like a shirt for your child or you. Money will be collected when the shirts come in.
Our student council will begin offering breakfast in the gym each morning after Labor Day. Most of the items cost 50 cents to 1 dollar.
I received a brochure from Huber’s Orchard regarding a Johnny Appleseed Tour they will be doing this fall. Kindergarten studies Johnny Appleseed in September so I felt this would be a great trip for us to take. The cost of the trip will be $15 and we will go on October 7. The cost of the trip will include story time, tour of the apple picking facility, a small bag of apples (students pick themselves), a wagon ride, admission to the family farm park including the corn maze, a coloring book, a pie pumpkin, and the cost of the bus to and from the trip. This will be our only big field trip this year. We will take a small in country trip in May. If you have a strong feeling of the cost of the trip please let me know by Wednesday, August 31. If the majority shows a strong interest in not going and doing another trip we will do something else this fall. Your input is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
