Class Work
*Reading– Students will be learning the short “a” sound like in hat and reviewing d,p,s,m. Please work on these sounds and handwriting at home. Wednesday read “The Park”
* Word Wall Words (star words) this week- of, in; Students will be tested on all word wall words this week.
*Religion– The Fiery Furnace- Daniel 3
*Memory– Hymn of the Month- I am Jesus’ Little Lamb
*Math- Students will be working on the numbers 6, 7, 8, and 9. Homework on Wednesday.
*Science- Plants and Animals; Rocks
*Social Studies- Veteran’s Day Activities; U.S. symbols
This Weeks Happenings in
Kindergarten
Monday- No Chapel
Wednesday- Library (Don’t Forget to Return Books) ; Wacky/Clash Day
Thursday– Show and Tell-Bring something pertaining to your Grandparent(s); Cowboy/Western Day ;We will look at the Book Fair; Parents may visit from 3:30-6 in the gym
Friday- Grandparents Day; Chapel- Please wear chapel clothes (this is also red, white, and blue day)
End of the Trimester
Snacks and Drinks
Cooper Robinson will have snacks and drinks this week and be the star of the week. Please send in pictures.
Chandler Stahl will have snacks and drinks next week and be the star of the week.
News
Grandparent’s Day is Friday from 8:30 to after lunch. Don’t forget forms! We will go to chapel, do activities, and eat lunch. The afternoon will include a faculty versus 8th grade volleyball game and a pep session.
Dress-up days for spirit week (boys basketball tourney) are listed above.
Please remember to send a coat with your child for recess.
If you have any overdue school library books please send them in.
We are also in need of clorox wipes. This is not a requirement to send some but if you would like I would appreciate it. Thank you!
