News
Students have been learning to recognize the letters of the alphabet. This should be a review to most students. The letters we have worked on so far are Aa-Gg. I update the letters by the reading section on the newsletter each week. In a few weeks, we will be working on the sounds each letter makes. Letter recognition is very important for students to know in order to learn sounds. One activity to help reinforce this at home or in the car is to have students look around for a certain letter in books, on TV, on billboards, etc.
Please remember to send in $3 for Windy City Players and Steve Carrier assemblies.
