For Tuesday, May 17 Study:
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” I Cor. 5:17
For Wednesday, May 18 Study:
“Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus.” Colossians 3:17
Language Arts: We will have our final bench mark assessment. We will also do Book Club. The children will choose which book they want to read from a group of books I have. They will be assigned parts of the book to read each night. There will be activities to go with what has been read.
Math-Keep working on those subtraction facts! The last two topics are an introduction to multiplication and division.

Dates to remember:
· May 19 Field trip to Muscatatuck with Grade One. Please send a sack lunch and drink. A cooler will be provided for drinks. Please no pop or lunch boxes. Make sure your child is dressed for being outside all day. No sandals, please. We will leave at 8:30 and return at 2:00.
· Friday, May 20-Track and Field Day
Make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the day—no tank tops—make sure you put sun screen on your child. You are welcome to send Gatorade or water to school. Please have the drink marked with your child’s name.
· Thursday, May 26-Class trip to Children’s Museum in Indianapolis. You will need to send your child’s lunch and drink. Permission slips will be sent home the first of next week. Be sure to send in permission slip and money by May 23rd.
· Wednesday, June 1st- Awards and last day of school.
