Religion: Reformation Study
 
Memory:        For Wednesday, October 26 Study:

For Friday, October 28-No memory assignment
 
Language Arts: Story- Birdhouse for Rent.
        Vocabulary Words: rent, vacant, tenants, deserted, examined
Skills:   /e/ spelled _ie_, _y, _ey, /s/ spelled ce, ci, cy, /j/ spelled ge, gi, point of view, adjectives, comparing and contrasting. 
Story Quiz on Friday 
(Please remember, that weather permitting, we will walk to the library for Read to Self on Wednesday.)
Spelling: peace, ice, face, pencil, city, age, digit, gem, large, magic
NO CHALLENGE WORDS THIS WEEK 
Spelling test on Friday. NO LANGUAGE TEST THIS WEEK.
Math: Money-coin values and counting
 
Social Studies: We are working on Unit Two.  We’ll work with maps as well as studying various landforms God has created.
 
FYI: 
·        Don’t forget to work on Book-It for October. 
·        Remember the dress-up days for Red Ribbon Week this next week. 
·        Remember the Reformation Party is on Friday, October 28th. Please allow your child to come dressed on Friday morning as a historical character from the Reformation or as a person from one of our previous Bible stories. We will have a parade for the older students on Friday. (Your child may wear red and black the rest of the school day.)

Thank you for all of your well wishes and prayers. Your thoughtfulness and understanding has been overwhelming and will forever be remembered.
