Science-We plan to begin Unit C—chapter 8 “Properties of Matter”. We continue to learn about Science Fairs.

Social Studies-We hope to finish Unit Four next week. Since we’ve had so many snow days, I am extending the unit four project. The deadline is February 4th. Please make sure your child’s journal entry is turned in by that date. Remember, the students are to research someone who has been important in the history of our United States. Each student is to write a journal entry from the first person point of view of the person chosen. Students are to pretend they are their historical figure and write about a day in the life of that figure. Students have been given their “journal” paper. If another sheet is needed, please let me know.
Hopefully, we will take the unit four test sometime the week of January 31st.

Thanks to those who’ve sent in problem solving treats and tissues the past several weeks. Your donations are very much appreciated!!

Remember-Grade Two has chapel on February 7th-8:30a.m.

May God continue to bless you and your family with His love and peace!
