Language Arts: Story: Brave as a Mountain Lion Vocabulary Words---reservation, dreaded, qualified, mysterious, mountain lion, stomping, inform Skills—predicting, summarizing, cause/effect, time order words, onomatopoeia

Word Wall and Language tests on Friday, March 12.
Math: Counting money, identifying parallel lines and segments, adding three digit numbers, multiplying by five. PLEASE KEEP PRACTICING MATH FACTS WITH YOUR CHILD—BOTH ADDITION AND SUBTRACTION FACTS TO 18 NEED TO BE MEMORIZED! THANKS.
Social Studies-We will be working on Unit Five—A World of Many People. For the unit project the students will be asked to design a family history storyboard that shows important events from the past to present. To get started with this your child can make a list of questions to ask different family members about important events in the history of your family.
Science- We will work on Chapter 10 beginning this week.
F.Y.I. Please remember to work on the March Book-It Challenge. It is due March 31st.
March Baptism birthdays will be celebrated March 19. (We’ll celebrate Daniel and Laney’s baptism days.)
My apologies for not getting the newsletter out sooner. I have been ill with shingles, the past several weeks. I have been okayed by the doctor to resume my teaching duties.
