Supporting answers with evidence from the text; Biography Unit
*Later this week, each student will begin reading a biography. They will have a reading schedule, and will be required to complete the assigned readings. We will be doing many activities in class based on the biographies we are reading. Information on a cumulative project will come soon!
Language
We will review nouns, pronouns, adjectives, and verbs--quiz on Tuesday. We will study independent and dependent clauses, and how they are combined to make complex sentences. We will also begin a research project on countries in the Winter Olympics.

--If you were still planning on making a contribute to our auction basket, please do so as soon as possible. I have to have everything together by Friday. So far we have:
