· Language Arts: We will continue to review sounds, high frequency words, and comprehension skills.
Decodables: The Red Star , No Drinks in Class, Learning to Swim, and Farm Chores. We will also read Ant and the Three Little Figs and Agua, Agua, Agua.
Benchmark Assessment One will begin on Tuesday. No story quiz.

I have had many great suggestions for Grade Two Chapel designation. The American Heart Association, Epilepsy Foundation of Indiana, and The Anchor House were the top three suggestions. Please discuss these with your child and we will vote next Monday. Thanks!
Don’t forget that the second graders need to bring an “art portfolio” by next week Thursday. On the front please list: Name of student, grade and Art
