First Grade News: Nov. 17-21
Religion- Rebuilding Jerusalem- Nehemiah; The Ten Lepers- Luke 17:11-19

Math- Students will be using a ruler to measure a line segment, sorting objects, adding 2 digit numbers. Students will have a Fact Test on Wednesday and a Written Test on Friday.

Reading-We are continuing a unit on “Neighborhood at Work” Students will be learning about different types of jobs. The high frequency words from last week are: ride, walk, we, well, make, you, go, and like (these words will be on the high frequency test on Tuesday) The high frequency words for this week are: after, over, them

First Grade News
* Since next week is a short week, there will not be a new student on the all about me board.
*Monday students will see a presentation by Perfection on Wheels.
*We will celebrate Logan’s baptismal birthday on Friday!
*Thank you to everyone who has sent in plastic bags!
*Thank you to all of the Grandparents who came on Friday and to the students for making the day a success! Also thank you to everyone who ordered from the book fair. It was a success and we will receive many free books for our classroom library!
*Our class will be putting together a theme basket for our school auction in February. If you have any ideas please let me know.
*Our Thanksgiving party will be at 2:30 on Tuesday.
