The sixth graders will receive directions on Thursday for the weather forecast project. Students are asked to design a national weather map using specific criteria given in the directions, and additionally to write a script that would follow along with the map. We have practiced weather maps in class for two days. The students will have 2 work days in class to prepare for the project on Thursday and Friday. The rest of the project will need to be completed at home (especially over this weekend). The entire project is due on Wednesday, October 8.
We are also finishing up chapter 4 so students will be having a test on Tuesday.
