Looking ahead:
· A “Snow Day” is scheduled for Feb. 20th—no school.
· Second trimester ends on February 17th.
· Don’t forget to encourage your child to work on reading for A.R. so that we can be a part of the “Challenge” issued last week. The students have really worked hard this past week!
· Dr. Suess Birthday Celebration- 3/1/12 at BCES Cafeteria 6-7:00 p.m. sponsored by B’town Public Library and Epsilon Phi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Kappa
Pre-school – Second Grade is invited. Free admission.
· Don’t forget the LCS Benefit Auction is planned for March 10th. We are working on a Let’s Go Out to the Ballgame basket to be auctioned that evening. The money from the auction will go to new lighting for the gym and main hallway of the school. Originally it had been discussed to purchase new dining tables for the students. However, the tables we would need to purchase would not fit into the space that we currently have in the gym. So, that idea is being tabled for the time being. Thank you for your donations—keep them coming!
May God continue to bless you and your family with His love and peace.
