F.Y.I.: I think there is still some confusion as to how to work the spelling (Word Wall Words) contract. On Tuesday the children have the biggest assignment. I explain to them the words they are to use to finish their choice. On Wednesday I will have them either use only the five Word Wall Words OR I will have them use the Wd.Wall Wds. plus five additional words of their choice. On Thursday night the children just use the five Word Wall Words for the week. The children are responsible for telling you what the assignment is for the given day. Please let me know if you have further questions.
Language and Word Wall Test on Friday, September 17th
Please monitor your child’s progress on the daily seatwork sent home. Most of the language test items come from the seatwork done in class.
Math: Topic Two Test on Tuesday
We’ll begin Topic Three—Subtraction
Social Studies: Unit One Project due on September 15th.
