Class Work
*Reading– Students will be reviewing all short and long vowels. We will be working on blending sounds together and comprehension. Students will get a decodable on Tuesday and Thursday this week please return the book the next day.
* Word Wall Words-Review- Please work with your child on the words!
*Religion– Philip and the Ethiopian- Acts 8; Peter in Prison- Acts 12
*Math- Students will be reviewing counting coins and learning about time. Students will have homework on Wednesday.
*Science- Wind, Weather, Butterflies
*Social Studies- Review

Thank you to Chandler, Jayden, and Brody for the snacks for their baptismal birthday!
Congratulations to all of our kindergarten students for tying their shoes!! Thank you for all your hard work!
Also thank you to all of you for sending in snacks this year. I really appreciate your help!
Great job to kindergarten at the Fine Arts Fair.
Students began taking Accelerated Reader tests last week. They did a great job! We will take 2 each week until the last week.
Remember to have your child wear tennis shoes along with their orange class shirt or LC camo shirt on Friday for track and field day. Also, if your child would like a snocone Friday afternoon please send in $2 by Monday, May 16. Also have your child wear or bring tennis shoes on Monday we will be practicing at the track.
Remember permission slips to Kids Commons.
Wednesday will be our last trip to the school library this school year. We will just be returning books, please have your child return all of his or her library books on Wednesday.
