News and Notes from Grade Two

                 There will not be a quiz over the last unit. 
 
Memory: For Tuesday, May 25 Study:

For Wednesday, May 26 Study:

Language ArtsReview.    There will be no word wall or language test. 
 
Social StudiesTest over Unit 6 on Thursday.
 
ScienceWe will finish chapter 13. No test.
 
*** If your child ordered a shirt in memory of Grace Scarlett, we plan to wear them on Friday, May 28th. Thank you!
Please note: We’ll be planting petunias donated by Margie Strange of Schneider’s Nursery on WEDNESDAY. If you have a hand tool for planting flowers and you don’t mind us using it, please send it on Wednesday in a bag. Please mark the tool with your name. Thank you.
 
Please remember: Class trip to The Louisville Zoo is Tuesday, June 1st. Send your child’s lunch and a drink. Please make sure all is marked with your child’s name. No money will be needed. We will not visit the Souvenir Shop, ride the train, or buy concession items. School attire  is expected. Please have your child wear our class shirt. Thanks!

Don’t forget the Brownstown Public Library Reading Program begins June 1st
 
I’ve enjoyed working with your student. Please help him/her keep up with skills by reading together and practicing math facts over the summer. The transition to third grade will be smoother. I wish all of you a fun-filled summer and God’s continued blessings. Mrs. Wischmeier
