Please send a Bible with your child for Religion on Wednesday, November 4h. Please have it marked to the Psalms. Thank you. (Any version of Bible—an older Bible from home is fine.)

Language Arts: Story- Hungry Hoppers in Your Backyard      Vocabulary Words: fussy, dull, sensing, antennae, cycle
We will finish Hungry Hoppers from last week.   Story quiz on Wednesday over Hungry Hoppers. 
Skills: Cause and effect, summarizing, using capital letters, plural and singular nouns, introduction of adjectives  
We will also read Birdhouse for Rent.
Vocabulary words are: rent, vacant, tenants, deserted, examined
No story quiz at all over Birdhouse for Rent.  
 
WORD WALL WORDS: could   teach   thing   sister    too

Math: Symmetry, Adding 2 digit numbers, drawing a number line, drawing line segments to the nearest inch,

F.Y.I.:     Chapel offering update—as of October 28 we have collected $120.97.  
               The mascot, Fox in Socks, from Texas has arrived! He will be coming to visit you soon! Thanks for your help with this project. The children are really enjoying it.
 
              Don’t forget Grandparent’s Day on November 13th.
 
              The end of the first trimester is November 13th.
