You may have already discovered that you do not have access to PowerSchool or Accelerated Reader from our web site. We, at LCS, do not have access to them from school either. No grades or records have been compromised, we just don’t have access.
A few months ago, Comcast announced that it had purchased Insight’s cable rights in this area. Sometime Monday night, Comcast Cablevision took over Insight’s internet service, which Lutheran Central gets free from them. Insight was suppose to send letters to all customers that this was going to happen and failed to do that in this area. Because we did not know this was going to happen, we were unable to make the necessary arrangements to shorten the time we will not have certain services. They have to replace our modem and then we have change the IP addresses to a number of places once the new modem is installed. We are hoping to have our full service restored no later than early next week. Please continue to try these services and then you will know when they are restored. We are sorry for the inconvenience and we look forward having these services fully restored.
