Earth's Resources Flowchart

Create a flowchart about using resources to produce food.

Step One:  Think about the steps needed to get a food product from the farm to the table.  Plan a flowchart that could be used to show how resources are used to do these things.

Step Two:  Choose a product for your flowchart.  Research how this product is grown, harvested, transported, packaged, and sold.  Check the local library, internet, interview a farmer or any other person whose occupation is related to farming.

Step Three:  Decide on several steps you want to show.  Write out each step. Include details that the pictures for each step should show.

Step Four:  Draw a picture to show each step.  Write a caption for the picture.

Step Five:  Deisplay your finished flowchart.  Share the chart with the rest of the class.

(Make sure your name is on the back of the flowchart.) 

This project is due on January 5, 2012.
