Language Arts: Reading Test over Unit Two on Monday, November 7th. We will begin the third unit “Around the Town”.
Story: Red Light, Green Light, Mama and Me

Skills: Making inferences, using adjectives, learning about articles, main idea, summarizing, recognizing the setting of stories

Math: We will begin Topic 6 Mental math
Social Studies: Unit two test on Thursday.
Due to my health issues and time constraints, the unit project for this unit will be to make a set of study cards for the different landforms. These may be put on 3x5 cards, notebook paper, or whatever you have on hand. The students need to choose eight landforms that we’ve studied. Draw a picture of the landform on one side and write the definition for that landform on the other side. Band with a rubber band or paper clip and make sure the student’s name is attached. These are due on November 11th. Thank you.
F.Y.I.: Spirit week for boy’s basketball is next week Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
A special Veteran’s Day Assembly will be held next Friday at 2:30 p.m. This is sponsored by the Student Council of LCS.
