Memory for the Week of 9/5-9/9
This week we will be finishing our September hymn of the month, “Come, Follow Me,” the Savior Spake” and finishing the week with a Bible verse that goes along with our theme. All memory will be fill-in-the-blank.
Wednesday, 9/7 (verse 4)
“I teach you how to shun and flee
What harms your soul’s salvation,
Your heart from ev’ry guile to free,
From sin and its temptation.
I am the refuge of the soul
And lead you to your heav’nly goal.”
Thursday, 9/8 (verse 5)
Then let us follow Christ, our Lord,
And take the cross appointed
And, firmly clinging to His Word,
In suff’ring be undaunted.
For those who bear the battle’s strain
The crown of heav’nly life obtain.
Friday, 9/9 (Psalm 18:32-33)
“It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he enables me to stand on the heights.”
