News
Please remind your child the importance of following the classroom expectations especially listening, following directions, and staying on task. I am starting to see that those who are not able to do that are going to be following behind. In the next 5 months we will be working a lot on reading skills to get ready for first grade, therefore, it is very important for each student to follow directions and listen.
On Monday every student is going to be in a group with other students in the school to read the book they made in November. The National Junior Honor Society will be providing hot chocolate and other goodies during that time. Students who ordered a book will receive that on Monday.
Our Christmas party will be on Tuesday, December 21. Those helping include: Snacks: Kelly Cunningham and Suzanne Bolte, Drinks: Heather Lutes, Plates and Napkins: Missie McKinney, Party Favors: Party Favors, Games/Activities: Suzanne Bolte Help at Party: Missie McKinney, April Darlage, Suzanne Bolte, Jami Elmore, Heather Lutes. The party will begin at 1:45 with snacks and then students will open presents and do activities.
Book-it forms will be collected when we return from break, January 3.
School will be closed Wednesday, December 22 and will resume on Monday, January 3. We will have chapel when we return. You will get a newsletter on the Monday that we return for that week.
Have a Merry Christmas and Blessed New Year!
