Class Work
*Reading– We have finished identifying all of the letters in the alphabet. We are going to be reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and other books to review this week. We will have many activities with those books. We are also taking the 2nd benchmark test this week to see where each student is. I will share the 1st and 2nd test with you at our conference the 18th and 19th. We are also working on color words and opposites this week.
* Word Wall Words (star words) this week- We are reviewing this week.
*Religion– The Story of Ruth
*Memory– The last part of Luther’s Morning Prayer
For into your hands I commend myself, my body and soul and all things. Let your holy angel be with me that the evil foe may have no power over me. Amen
*Math- Students will be writing and counting 4 and 5. Please work on this at home also. Homework page will be on Wednesday.

Snacks and Drinks
Lilly Tiemeier will have snacks and drinks this week and will be the star of the week. Please send in pictures.
Waylon Lutes will have snacks and drinks for next week and be the star of the week.
News
Silly Bands are becoming a distraction during class time. I ask that students do not wear silly bands to school.
I will be gone to a conference on Thursday and Friday this week. Mrs. Osterman will be the substitute teacher in our class.
We will celebrate Carson, Lilly, and Waylon’s baptismal birthday on Friday.
Thank you to everyone who went on our field trip and helped with the activities at school. It was a great day!
Just a reminder the conference forms are due by Tuesday. Parent-teacher conferences will be on Monday and Tuesday, October 18 and 19.
