News and Notes
·   Our performance at Trinity’s fish fry is this Sunday. Students need to meet there at 5:15. Please wear red, white, and blue. We will be performing “A is for America” and singing “America the Beautiful.” The memory work for this week will be from those.
·   Continue encouraging your child to use their thinking voice when they are reading aloud. We will begin to set individual goals for reading this week.
·   Help Sessions will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 4:00. If you would like your child to stay for either or both days to receive extra help, please let me know.
·   School pictures will be taken on September 15.
·   Grade reviews will be sent home on September 16.
·   The Shepherd’s Staff is in need of parents to help in a variety of different ways with the Chili Supper in October. If you can volunteer, please contact Angie Hallow at 497-0257 or 216-1631.
