Math: Topic 13 Measurement: Length and area
PLEASE KEEP PRACTICING MATH FACTS WITH YOUR CHILD—BOTH ADDITION AND SUBTRACTION FACTS TO 18 NEED TO BE MEMORIZED!   THANKS. (Weekly grades will be taken to check the student’s progress is this area beginning March 4th.)
 
Social Studies-We will be working on Unit Five—A World of Many People. For the unit project the students will be asked to design a family history storyboard that shows important events from the past to present. To get started with this your child can make a list of questions to ask different family members about important events in the history of your family.
 
Science- We will work on Chapter 9—Energy-- beginning this week.
F.Y.I. 
February Book-It is due Monday, Feb. 28. March is the last month for Book-It. Goals will be sent home on Monday.
 
Please be sure to send in the paper work/money for National Lutheran School’s Week activities.
 
I have volunteers for dessert, carrots and dip,  and a drink for the day we eat pizza during National Lutheran School’s Week. If someone would like to send some fruit for that day also, it would be appreciated. Thanks!
