Happy Birthday to Carson Darlage who celebrates a birthday on Wednesday!
Students have been learning to recognize the letters of the alphabet. The letters we have worked on so far are Aa-Mm and are working on Nn through Rr this week. I update the letters by the reading section on the newsletter each week. In a few weeks, we will be working on the sounds each letter makes. Letter recognition is very important for students to know in order to learn sounds. One activity to help reinforce this at home or in the car is to have students look around for a certain letter in books, on TV, on billboards, etc. Also work with your child on writing the letter.
