(Thank you for sending the Bibles to school. The children did a great job using them. Many seemed interested in the worksheet we did. A personal Bible may be a good Christmas gift idea!) 
Remember—Chapel on Friday—chapel dress is expected.

Language Arts:
Story: Tell Me, Tree   
       Decodables: A Force in the Dirt, Uncle Gene 
      Vocabulary Words: trunks, limbs, stems, minerals, sprouts 
          Skilles: spellings for /s/ and /j/ sounds, singular and plural, classify/categorize, review nouns, verbs, adjectives
          Story quiz on Thursday, November 12th 
 
Word Wall Words: Review Week—See attached word list
Word Wall and Language tests on Thursday, 11/12/09   
 
Math: Locating points on a number line, angles of a polygon (using geoboards), adding three or more single digit numbers, word problems
 
Science: Chapter Four Test on Wednesday, November 11.

Grandparents are invited to Chapel, visit morning classes, and eat lunch with their grandchildren. (8:30-Noon)

       Deer Jerky-(enough so all can get a taste)-Martin Brewster
       Cornbread Mixes(Jiffy 2 boxes)-Melanie Pottschmidt
       One half pint cream-Rhonda Otting
       Turnips(2) and large bag of Baby Carrots-Missy Nierman
       Popcorn-(popped and bagged)-Melanie Peters
Help at party(will bake the cornbread after we mix it, get fruit ready, and help serve)-Dusti Hall and Rhonda Otting
      (Please be at school at 2:00 p.m., if possible.)
