For Tuesday 8/24/10 (First Article meaning continued)Say: that He has given me my body and soul, eyes, ears, and all my members, my reason and all my senses and still takes care of them.
For Wednesday 8/25/10 Say: . . .He also gives me clothing and shoes, food and drink, house and home, wife and children, land, animals, and all I have.
For Thursday 8/26/10 Say: He richly and daily provides me with all that I need to support this body and life. He defends me against all danger and guards and protects me from all evil.
For Friday 8/27/10 Say: All this He does only out of fatherly, divine goodness and mercy, without any merit or worthiness in me. For all this it is my duty to thank and praise, serve and obey Him. This is most certainly true.
· Language Arts: We will continue to review sounds, high frequency words, and comprehension skills.
Decodables: The Red Star , No Drinks in Class, Learning to Swim, and Farm Chores. We will also read Ant and the Three Little Figs and Agua, Agua, Agua. NO STORY QUIZ THIS WEEK.
Benchmark Assessment One will begin on Tuesday.

The class did a GREAT job this week. I was so pleased with the efforts of everyone. Be sure to give words of praise to your student!!!
Just to let you know my father is doing much better. He did NOT have to have the major surgery that we first thought he would have. The biopsy results showed that there was no malignancy. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!!!!! Hopefully, he will return home early next week.
