Story-Brave as a Mountain Lion-to be finished next week with a story quiz on TUESDAY. Unit Five reading test on WEDNESDAY. Students may want to look over the Vocabulary Words for Unit Five (these are in their binders.) We’ll do a Literature Circle, sometimes also called a Book Club, next week as well. Information will be sent home on Monday.
Word Wall Words: caught, color, few, your, own
Word Wall and Language Test on Friday.
Math: WE’’ work on writing mixed numbers, using a bar graph with a scale of two, identifying right angles, and reading word problems. Please continue to work on math facts. Mastering these THIS YEAR WILL SO HELP NEXT YEAR!!! We are looking to adopt a new math series so the possibility is there for a new fomat to be chosen. Knowing the math facts will really help!!!!!
Science: We’ll work on an abbreviated chapter ten. We’ll concentrate on Lessons 1,2, and 5. Test over Chapter Ten will be on Friday, 3-19-10.
Social Studies: We’ll continue to work on Unit Five.
