The following are websites we have been using in our computer classes. Several of the kids have been asking for them. Please help your child type in the address to make sure they arrive at the right page.
www.abcya.com
Educational games are arranged by grade level. There are seasonal games, such as carve a jack-o-lantern, as well as math, reading, and computer skill activities.
www.starfall.com
This is a good website for K-2 and for struggling readers. Explore all of the sections of this website. Most first and second graders will be in the "I'm reading" section. There are games that teach sounds as well as interactive books that are similar to our decodables. Students can click on words they don't know to hear them sounded out.
www.computerlabkids.com
This website is full of great computer skills practice and seasonal games. Please help your child select an activity. They vary a lot in level. Also, these games will direct you to another site. Your child may need help getting back to the computerlabkids page.
