*Reading– We have finished identifying all of the letters in the alphabet. We are going to be reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and other books to review this week. We will have many activities with those books. We are also taking the 2nd benchmark test this week to see where each student is. I will share the 1st and 2nd test with you at our conference the 19th and 20th. We are also working on color words and opposites this week. Students will need to know there address by Friday. We will be doing address activities this week and you may see some home activities as well (I will mark them if there are.) Also, on Monday students will get a letter activity to do all week please return the form Friday

Class Work
*Reading– Students will be learning to identify the letters Ss, Tt, Uu, and Vv. Please work on these with your child at home. Students will get a paper on Monday to fill out their phone number. This paper is due on Friday and students will need to recite their phone number to the class without their paper. Tuesday- Read Decodable and Thursday- Read Decodable
* Word Wall Words (star words) this week- I, see
*Religion– Joshua Leads the children of Israel- Joshua 3-4
*Memory– Luther’s Morning Prayer (2nd Part)
*Math- Students will naming a shape, color and size; AB Pattern; Sorting Objects and Number Ordering

Colton Hallow will have snacks and drinks this week and will be the star of the week.

Each student will be getting a cup of applesauce that we made on Friday. If you would prefer your child not bring his or her applesauce on the bus please let me know.
Happy Birthday to Hannah Stahl, who celebrated her birthday last week!
Remember to return chili supper donations.
Students have recently read If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, during writing Mrs. Rothert had the class create a book. This book will be coming home each night with a different student. Please read it with your child and return the next day.
Thank you to Connie Stahl for letting us use her apple peeler for to peel our applesauce!
