Reminder of Morning Gym Rules/Procedures
Lower grades sit on west side. Once a seat is chosen, the student stays in that seat. Rest room may be used with the permission of one of the supervisors. At line-up time, walk to the line. Hands, feet, and objects are to be kept to yourself. Stay in a straight line as you walk down the hall to class.

Problem Solving Treats:
The students are given a small edible treat when a problem is correctly solved.   Examples: Skittle, M&M, Goldfish cracker, pretzel, Gummy Bears
If you would like to donate a bag/box of problem solving treats, it would be much appreciated.   Send to school with your child anytime. Thanks!!

Chapel Offering Designation:
Our class needs to select a chapel offering to give towards this school year. Last year we had two designation and we were able to give $250.00 to each group. (We gave to the Don and Dana Myers Cancer Center and the National Alopecia Areata Foundation.)  I would like you and your child to come up with a suggestion for us to consider for this year’s offerings. Attached please find a form to fill out. Please return it by August 21st. You do not need to sign the form. Thanks!

Art Portfolios:
Please remember your child needs an Art Portfolio for next week’s art class. Fold a regular sized poster board in half, tape or staple the sides, and put your child’s name, grade and Art on the front of it. Thanks!

Class shirts:
I’ve also included a form for a second grade class shirt. Please fill it out as well. The cost of the shirts will depend on the number ordered.  (The shirts should not cost more than $7.00. Thanks!
