Religion- The Story of Rahab- Joshua 2; The Fall of Jericho- Joshua 6

            Tuesday: 6^th  You shall not commit adultery

            Wednesday: 7^th You shall not steal

            Thursday:  8^th  You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor

Math- Students will be learning adding 0 addition facts, making designs with pattern blocks, counting by 10’s, and learning subtracting 1 facts. Students will take a fact test on Thursday over adding 1, adding 0, and doubles facts. Students will have a written math test on Friday over concepts learned this week.

Reading-We are finishing our 2^nd unit on Animal Habits and will be working on the following comprehension strategies: asking questions, making connections, and visualizing. Students will be learning about the artic habitat. Students will also be learning the /x/, /e/ spelled e and _ea_, /d/ /t/ /ed/ spelled _ed sounds this week.  We will continue to work on blending sounds together.   Students will take a test on Friday over the sounds and concepts learned this week. The high frequency words for the week are: down, if, its, red, help
