*Reading–Reviewing the sounds /z/, /u/, /x/, /f/, /j/. We will be finishing our stories on Shadows.
Friday- Decodable Keep Reading!
* Word Wall Words (star words) this week- all
*Religion– Jesus is the Baptized On Tuesday we will be discussing our own Baptisms. Students are welcome to bring in something from their Baptism.
*Memory– Hymn of the Month: Jesus Lead Thou On
*Math- Addition; Students will take a test over addition on Thursday.
No homework in math this week.
*Science- Winter; The Sky (Day and Night
*Social Studies- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. History; Other U.S. Leaders

Wednesday- Library (Remember to return library books)
Thursday- Show and tell- Students need 100 of something to make a creation on poster board or construction paper or outline the number 100 with those 100 items on poster board or construction paper.
Friday-Gym; Our 100th Day of school!
Snacks
Addison Darlage will have snacks this week.
Carson Darlage will have snacks next week.
News
Friday is our 100th day. Students are asked to bring 100 of some type of food (examples pretzels, cheerios, m and m’s, etc. in a plastic bag with his or her name on it. We will add it into a bowl with 1st grade students for a trail mix. We will also be eating pizza on Friday instead of the school lunch to celebrate our 100th day. Snacks and Pizza will be provided.
Congratulations and God’s Blessings to Dylan Whitmore who was baptized last Saturday.
Thank you to Levi, Hudson, and Evan for the snacks to celebrate their baptismal birthday!
March 10 is our school auction at Pewter Hall, ticket information will be coming soon! Our class will be donating a themed basket. If you have an idea for our class basket please let me know by Friday, January 20.
