Class Work
*Reading– Students will be learning the short “a” sound like in hat and reviewing d,p,s,m. We will also continue to work on blending sounds together and reading cvc (consonant, vowel, consonant) words like mat. Please work on these sounds and handwriting at home; some students start at the bottom of the line to make letters please encourage them to start at the top or the correct spot. There are 2 decodables this week please encourage your child to read these at home.
* Word Wall Words (star words) this week- in, am; Students will be tested on all word wall words next week.
*Religion– The Fiery Furnace- Daniel 3; Reformation- Martin Luther
*Memory– The Lord will watch over your coming and going. Psalm 121:8
*Math- Students will be working on counting, identifying, and writing the numbers 9 and 10. Please continue to work on writing all of the numbers 0 to 10 at home. Homework on Wednesday
*Science- Animals- Growth
*Social Studies- Communities and Neighborhoods; Students will also be working on memorizing their addresses, please work on at home. We will test this week.

Levi Pottschmidt will have snacks and drinks this week and be the star of the week. Please send in pictures.
Sam Rohr will have snacks and drinks next week and be the star of the week.

Please remember to send a coat with your child for recess.
We are also in need of clorox wipes. This is not a requirement to send some but if you would like I would appreciate it. Thank you!
