Class Work
*Reading– Students will be learning the long e sound like in feet and Pete. Students will be reading Decodable 20 on Friday. Please read these with your child.
* Word Wall Words-be; she
*Religion– Jesus’ Promises-Matthew 28 and Acts 1
*Math- Students will be reviewing counting by 2’s, 5’s and 10’s and finding number patterns. Students will be learning to count pennies, nickels, and dimes.
*Science- Insects- Butterflies; Weather- Wind
*Social Studies- Goods and Services

News
Thursday is our Muffins for Moms event. Please meet in the classroom at 8:15 when the children come. If you are not able to be here before 8:20 let me know and we will meet you at church. All family and friends are welcome to come to chapel. After chapel all children and their mom’s will enjoy the morning with songs, activities, and treats!
As the school year comes closer to a close and the weather gets nicer, it gets harder for students to follow classroom expectations. Please remind your child that is still very important to follow directions and listen. We have a lot of things to learn before the end of the year. Thank you!
Students can bring their own books for quiet/rest time after lunch each day.
Please send some of your families favorite recipes. I am going to put a class cookbook together for an end of the year gift. Thank you!
