Class Work
*Reading– We are reviewing all the letter sounds learned this year including a, b, c, d, g. h, i, l, m, n, o, r, s, and t. Please continue to work on blending these sounds together. Read Glad Pam on Friday.
* Word Wall Words (star words) this week- did, girl
*Religion– The Wisemen visit Jesus
*Memory– Bible Verse Praise be to the Lord…our Savior. Psalm 68:19
*Math-Students will be using their dimes to buy items, identifying information on a pictograph, identifying the length of an item by shorter or longer, and estimation
*Science- Living in Water; Temperature
*Social Studies- Leaders

Thursday- Show and tell- Share your favorite Christmas Gift
Snacks and Drinks
Hannah Napier will have snacks and drinks and be the star of the week this week.
Jimmy Baute will have snacks and drinks next week.
News
Our school auction is the last Saturday in February. Our class will be donating items for a themed basket. If you have any ideas please let me know.
Thank you for the toys for the toy drive in memory of Grace. Please continue to keep the Scarlett family in your prayers.

The Book-It goal for this month is to read 20 minutes a day 4 days of the week.
Billie Winton, Liam’s grandmother, read to our class The Night Before Christmas the Friday before our Christmas break. The students really enjoyed it.
The theme for our class auction basket has been narrowed to two: kitchen/cooking basket or beach basket. If you have a choice or a thought of which will sell more please let Mrs. Klosterman know by Thursday. I will have details in next weeks newsletter.
